GOOD SHOT, LEE - A FINAL "TOUCHER" ! I knew and admired Lee from his happy times with Ellen, both members of our Short Mat Bowls Club in Upottery, where each started as novice bowlers but quickly became among the best of our players. Lee's warm smile would light up the room on his arrival over from Northleigh as he greeted his many friends. He was a generous spirited and amicable man, always ready with a cheerful joke or anecdote to lighten the conversation. The only time one could catch him without his normal smile would be when he was considering his next 'wood'; he was strongly competitive and focussed in his match-play . He was a tactile and outgoing fellow, who loved his life and his hobbies. He was not perfect, of course, but supporting Tottenham was apparently congenital and therefore forgivable in an otherwise thoroughly sensible personality.... I shall miss his sense of fun and laughter . Huge hugs of love and support for Ellen and for Ross and Karin and for Lee's fine brother, Gary. Take comfort in your love for this much missed, gentle man - that you have been able to know him for so many years and that he is now free of pain and distress on the next leg of his journey towards the Light. Peace and strength to you all, your families and friends in your sorrow. Richard and Patsy Wells
